World Book Day
It's world book day today! Although we can't celebrate it in school this year, there is a great World Book Day YouTube channel you can check out (link below) .
If you have some spare time over the next couple of days make sure to have a look. There are some brilliant book readings by different authors. I recommend the 'SHARE A STORY LIVE: Books that make you LOL' video if you fancy a giggle .
Watch the lesson: 'To develop a rich understanding of words associated with meals'
Write a paragraph about your favourite meal . Use the vocabulary you have learnt during this lesson to describe your meal.
You can include:
- What the meal looks like
- What it smells like
- When you like to eat it (eg. breakfast, lunch, dinner, summer, winter, on a special day, everyday?)
- Where you eat it
- Who cooks it
- How it tastes
- Who you eat it with
Watch lesson 4: 'Multiply non-unit fractions by an integer'
(Watch again if you're not feeling sure.) One you're ready, tackle today's worksheet!
This half term's focus is Gymnastics! All the way up through primary school, you have been growing, training and learning how to move your body safely and efficiently! It's time to continue putting those skills to the test! Watch the video lesson below:
Once you're warmed up after that, grab anything you can use for 4-5 markers/cones and try these challenges:
(Make it a competition and challenge your siblings/family members)!
