We are going to expand our persuasive language vocabulary by looking at the suffixes -er and -est.
Once you have watched the lesson have a go at one of the worksheets below! Once you have completed a worksheet its your turn to use persuasive writing. Pick your favourite animal and write a paragraph explaining why your animal is the best in the animal kingdom. Remember to use the vocabulary you have just practised.

Create your own marble run!
Your task is to make a marble run that takes exactly 20 seconds for the marble to reach the bottom. The video below should give you a lot of ideas on how to construct your run.
You could use:
- Card
- Paper
- Straws
- Plasticine
- Blue tack
- Lollypop sticks
- Lego
- Anything you can think of!
Remember: Adding friction will slow the marble

If you aren't able to build your maze today draw a plan of your maze instead, label all the features that will help slow the marble.
